After months of rigorous product testing, the prestigious 2015 Creative Play Awards results have been announced and will be published in the Winter issue of Creative Steps magazine, also on the www.creativesteps.co.uk website and across all social media platforms.
The Creative Play Awards are the only awards designed specifically to recognise excellence in creative play products, kits and teaching resources. Each product was tested by independent judges – parents, childcare professionals, nursery practitioners and primary school teachers. The results recognise the best products available to enhance creative development in young children and are beneficial to the consumer when making purchasing decisions.
John Hopley, editor of Creative Steps commented: “We are yet again delighted by the number of companies who entered products this year, which is our eighth year of hosting the awards. The quality of entries was, as always, extremely high, not only recognizing the importance the toy industry places on encouraging learning through creative play, but the importance for children to play and learn.”
The up up and away imagination teepee from Myweeteepee was awarded a highly commended in the imaginative role play category age 4-7 years. We are so honoured and delighted that our design has been recognised for the value it brings to encouraging imaginative play. It really is such a beautiful design and the little interactive balloon basket pocket is a definitive favourite with children. Due to its fabulousness, this design is now out of stock, but it is coming back for 2016.
