Q.  Where are you based?

A.  We are proudly based in Wincanton in Somerset, at unit 16, Lawrence Hill Business Centre, BA9 9RT.

 

Q.  Are you open to the public?

A.  Yes, by appointment only.

 

Q.  Do you have a telephone number you can be contacted on?

A.  Of course, we have a landline and mobile, both have answer phones, so please do feel free to leave a message if we cannot take your call.  We will get back to you as soon as possible.

 

Q.  I would like to order a teepee, how long will it take to arrive?

A.  When in stock, teepees are dispatched within 1-3 working days, usually sooner and are sent on a next day delivery. If you chose to add a name to your teepee, this might take a few more days. Please feel free to get in touch and check the progress of your customised teepee order.

 

Q.  I desperately need a teepee asap, can you help?

A.  Please give us a call and we will do our very best to help get this to you within your timescales.

 

Q.  Will I need to be in to sign for the teepee when it arrives?

A.  All our teepees are sent fully insured using a signed for service, so it will require a signature on receipt.  If you are not at home, the courier will leave a card for you to contact them to rearrange the delivery.

 

Q.  How is it possible to sell such original designs and high quality teepees at such a great price?!

A.  After a good few years of designing and cutting each and every teepee we got a good feel of what parents wanted from a play tent for the children. Our ready made range offers the highest quality product at an affordable price, ensuring consistency in design and safety structure which is very important to us and to you.

 

Q.  Are your teepees safety tested?

A.  Yes our teepees are all tested in line with European safety standards and carry the CE mark for your assurance. 

 

Q.  Are the designs sewn on or glued onto your teepees?

A.  Our teepees are finished to a high standard, this means that every applique design on the canvas is sewn on for the best possible finish.  In order for our teepees to pass the relevant EN71 tests, it is essential that any small parts are secured to the canvas and we found the best way to do this was with stitching.

 

Q.  What is the recommended age range for teepees?

A.  The recommended age is for children of over 36 months due to containing small parts, however children of all ages can enjoy playing in a teepee under the direct supervision of an adult. The teepee must be assembled by an adult.

 

Q.  Are your teepees fireproof?

A.  Unfortunately there is no such fabric that is fire proof, even flame retardant fabric will burn, but one of the tests that we carry out ensures that the rate and spread of flame is kept within safe limits as outlined by EU safety standards.  However, please do not set your teepee up near a heat source and keep away from fire at all times.

 

 

Q.  I sent an email on Friday evening, but still haven’t had a reply and its now Sunday.

A.  All messages are replied to within 24-48 hours, sometimes a little longer on weekends and busy periods.

 

Q.  Do i have to pay for shipping?

A.  Shipping is free within the UK mainland.  All other destinations are quoted at the checkout.

Q.  Can I collect my teepee?

A.  Yes, of course you can, it is always lovely to meet customers in person.

 

Q.  How does the teepee stay up? I am worried it will slip down the poles.

A.  Our teepees are designed with stability in mind.  At the top of the tent there are rivot holes which are threaded to the poles using  a secure lace and once secured following the instructions (provided), this prevents any slipping and allows the teepee to stand upright, creating the best possible shape and playtent for your child.

 

Q.  Is it easy to set up?

A.  Really easy, although we do recommend that only adults construct the teepee and little people watch (impatiently!) from the side-lines.  The poles simply connect into each other to form one long pole, they in turn feed into the channels in the canvas and once all 4 are in place, secure at the top. We do recommend checking the ties each time the teepee is moved or collapsed to ensure they are nice and secure.

 

Q.  Is there anywhere I can download the instruction manual?

A.  Yes, this is coming soon to our website along with a tutorial of how to set up. Each teepee sold is supplied with an assembly instructions.

 

Q.  What if I change my mind and want to return the teepee?

A.  That’s totally fine.  Please refer to our terms and conditions on how to proceed.

 

Q.  I think my teepee may be faulty, what can I do?

A.  We are very sorry to hear of this.  Please email us directly so that we can assist you further in line with our terms and conditions.

 

Q.  What can be expected from your customer service?
